"I absolutely loved Réunion, especially the nature. We were lucky enough to see the volcano erupting, and it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Delphine, who grew up there but has also lived abroad, was so lovely, attentive and kind, and made a huge difference to our trip. Even before we arrived, she put together a clear, well-organized overview of places to see, with different options depending on what we were after: more adventurous or more relaxed, closer by or further out. And once we were there, we could ask her anything on the go too. We were not very familiar with the island, but before our trip, we received multiple recommendations from Delphine about places to stay, visit and explore. "If I had arrived in time, definitely the eruption of the volcano would have been my top experience, including the night hiking to and from there. But I didn't arrive in time, so for me, swimming in the waterfalls and the sunrise on the Maïdo was my top experience. "One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited in my life! The invironment, waterfalls, volcanos, hiking, and also the nightlife, restaurants and food ( except the duck) were super good! La Reunion is so much more than the typical island. In one part of the island, it could be around 30 degrees, while on the other side, it could be 20 degrees colder. You might even have to wear a coat when, just two hours earlier, you were having a cocktail on a sunny beach on the other side of the island. Fantastic! Delfine was the one who showed me these beautiful places and told me about the islands history, which was very impressive. I wouldnt have been able to see and learn nearly as much about the island on my own."
